22 positions of contemporary artists enter into a dialogue about common (or different) culture, history, politics and aesthetic thinking. The artworks have a wide range in terms of radicalism, decorativeness, figuration, abstraction, materiality. Some flatter our viewing habits, others break them up and confuse us. But the common base is a Danish-German friendship, that began in 2017 when Danish artist and gallery owner Torben Nebrot Jørgensen visited the XTRO Ateliers in Oberschöneweide. A network of border-crossing exhibitions in Denmark and Germany is growing.
